Differentiated Instructions for PD Coordinators of USR Concludes!

Differentiated Instructions Workshop which was conducted for the PD Coordinators' of Upper South Region has been completed. This 32 hours workshop was conducted at GA. Teacher Resource Centre from 24th - 28th September 2011 with 14 Participants from GA and GDh Atoll. The workshop was funded by the Ministry of Education. The workshop was facilitated by the staff of Centre for Continuing Education.

From this workshop the participants got ideas of how to apply Differentiated Instructions in the classroom teaching using various strategies according to the needs of the learner.  

ICT & PE WORKSHOP FOR PD COORDINATORS OF UPPER SOUTH REGION CONCLUDES

ICT and PE Workshop for the PD Coordinators of Upper South Region has been completed from 16th to 21st July 2011 at GA. TRC. This 43 hours workshop was funded by the Upper South Education Unit and Centre for Continuing Education. During this workshop participants got opportunity to be familiar with useful software that can be used to make interactive activities for the different subjects across the curriculum. Moreover through this workshop the participants got numerous ideas of how to conduct effective physical education activities for the students.

Total 13 PD Coordinators from GA and GDh Atoll took part in this workshop was facilitated by Mr. Abdhul Razak Ibrahim, the Director General of Ministry of Youth and Sports,  Mr. Mohamed Aleem, Education Development Officer from Centre for Continuing Education and a teacher educator of CCE.

Apart from this, the primary teachers of GA. Atoll Education Centre also participated for the PE Sessions organised for the primary teachers of GA. Atoll

English Methodology Workshop for GA. Atoll Primary Teachers

A workshop on Text Types and Teaching Grammar in Context has been conducted for the lower primary teachers of GA.Atoll. The workshop was conducted from 7th to 10 of June 2011 at GA.TRC. This 30 hour workshop was funded by the National Office of upper South Region and 18 primary teachers from different schools of atoll participated in it. This workshop was facilitated by the teacher educators of CCE.
